Sustainability and "green" is about more than just being cool or hip.  Husband and wife and co-owners of Eco-Green Living, Keith and Donna Ware, believe that sustainability means being socially responsible communitiy members.  That's why when they opened the doors of Eco-Green Living in December of 2005 they offered our customers a one-stop-shop where anyone could buy products that created a positive impact in their lives, the lives of others, and the planet.

Envisioning a New Store

As a business we've evolved since the first time we opened our doors in the Logan Circle district of Washington, D.C. In the winter of 2008 - 2009 we relocated from our D.C. location on Church St. NW in the to our new and current location in the Takoma Park area, making our store more accessible to the entire metro region.

We've re-visioned the store as a center that provides our customers, general contractors, and builders with green and energy-efficient products and educates them about going green. While Eco-Green Living is still a one-stop-shop, it is helping the people, communities, companies, and agencies surrounding the nation’s capitol “go green.”

Eco-Green Living has distinguished itself in three major ways: superior customer service, cutting-edge, green, and energy-efficient products, and our strategy of educating consumers into action. Our staff are experts on green and energy-efficient products. We share our knowledge with our customers and make sure all of their questions are answered. Our goal is to always go the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied with the store’s products and customer service.
